Experience
My teaching and tutoring experience includes tutoring a blind accounting student & fraternity brothers while attending college. I was a substitute teacher for elementary to high school students. Recently, I have tutored foreign college accounting students high school students in algebra & geometry. Finally, I was a small business seminar speaker. I have over 15 years of professional experience working as an accountant in public and private accounting and as a business consultant. I enjoy and derive satisfaction from helping folks understand material more thoroughly. I feel it's important to help students grasp concepts and relate to a subject personally in order to achieve this understanding. I also like to introduce study skills to helps students be more productive and effective in their learning. My accounting coursework included accounting principles, intermediate accounting, cost accounting, advanced accounting, governmental accounting, accounting theory, auditing, taxation and CPA Review courses. Other coursework included economics, finance, marketing, management, statistics, calculus, algebra and business law classes.
